Reception
Children are greeted at the door by EYFS staff and enter the classroom to a range of activities to access independently.
After the register and morning routine, children take part in stories, writing, phonics, maths and independent learning, before going to the hall and playground for their lunchtime at 12:00.
The afternoon session starts at 12:45 and the class learn about topics through adult input and exploration time. One-to-one and small group work takes place throughout the day and learning is both inside and outside of the classroom.
Assemblies and shared class reading form the end of day routine, before children are greeted at the Reception classroom gate by their parents and carers at 15:15.
Year 1 to Year 6
Members of the Senior Leadership Team welcome children in at 8:40, when they open the gt in the morning. The gate is then closed at 8:55.
