£280.80 Tempest Leisure  -Instructors and Court Hire

Separate swimming session for Reception pupils. Provision of transport and instructors/pool hire

£1560 Transport

£525 Tempus Leisure – instructor/life guard/pool hire

We recognised that it is better to start children swimming at an early age.  As the pool has a limited shallow area we decided it would be beneficial to take the Reception Class at a separate time from the rest of the school.  We employed experienced swimming teachers and as a result our Reception pupils are already very confident in the water. They are also able to undress and dress for swimming quickly and with confidence.

Outdoor Play People

Provision of Outdoor Equipment

We have recognised for some time that the playground needed redeveloping.  This was put on hold until our building works were completed.  Money has now been spent to provide equipment which makes best use of the limited space we have available.    All pupils have access to this equipment during break and lunchtimes.  Lunchtime staff have reported that behaviour has improved as pupils are more engaged.

Year 2 pupils attended a Multi Skills Festival  which was a follow up to the Multi Skills sessions held in school which are run by Bodmin College staff and students.
