Meet the team

Miss Bowden is the Fox Class teacher. She has a Sport Science and Health & Fitness degree from The University of Plymouth and a PGCE from Birmingham City University.  She has been working with children in various settings since 2007 and is now entering her sixth year of teaching in Cornwall.

She is a kind and caring teacher and leads Computing for the school. She loves creating a fun, safe and engaging teaching environment whilst encouraging pupils to develop their independence. She has two young primary age boys who also share her love for learning.  The three off them spend lots of time together in the outdoors exploring and going for coastal walks.

Miss Winter-Baker is the teaching assistant for Fox Class.

Following her study of the IT Practitioner course at college, Miss Winter-Baker decided that she actually wanted to follow her passion for education. In September 201,7 she successfully applied for an apprenticeship at Lanivet School. After completing her Level 2 Diploma, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools she went on to obtain her Level 3 Diploma,.

Miss Winter-Baker is passionate about children's mental health and enjoys helping children progress throughout their developmental stages. She came to this school herself as a child and her family have lived in the village for generations.
